The Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia is proud to announce the publication of our latest guide: Let Me Be Me: a Legal Information Guide to Canada’s Conversion “Therapy” Ban. Let Me Be Me will be a valuable resource that will help build an understanding of what conversion therapy* is and is not.

Let Me Be Me relies on the wisdom, expertise, and shared life experiences and stories of the many members of the Nova Scotian 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Many survivors have allowed us to share their stories as part of this publication, providing a real-world lens on the impacts conversion therapy* has had on our community.

Shila LeBlanc, coordinator of the Let Me Be Me project, sat down with Portia Clark of Information Morning on CBC Radio, to discuss the guide and what conversion therapy can look like. You can list to the interview here
