The Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia partnered with Citadel High School in Spring 2018 to produce the first Law Day Event which focused on helping youth prepare for adult life. The event was successful and received very positive feedback with over 350 high school students in attendance.

We produced a series of short skits which were funny and aimed at introducing topics that students will encounter as they get ready for the adult world - pay day loans, rent, used car purchases etc. The students performed the skits.

We are pleased to share the skits and tips for putting on such an event with all high schools in the Province. LISNS is committed to improving the information available to youth to help them engage in sound decision-making and minimizing legal conflict. View the video from our law day event below.
