Legal Information Counsellor, Nicole Slaunwhite, chats with Saltwire journalist Jennifer Anandanayagam, to discuss what you can do if you believe that you may have fallen victim to a scam.
Fake websites are a common complaint among consumers, according to Nicole Slaunwhite, legal information counsellor with the Legal Information Society of N.S.

“Scammers may send fake shipping notifications or emails that appear to be from real companies that trick consumers into providing credit card details or personal info.”
