The information that we provide is for events that have happened in Nova Scotia. This information can differ from province to province, so it will be important to speak with someone familiar with the rules and processes in that respective province.

Are you looking to see if you can file a complaint and if you work for one of the following industries? 

  • Federal government departments, Crown corporations (like Canada Post) or agencies,
  • Air transportation, including airlines, airports, aerodromes and aircraft operations
  • Banks, including authorized foreign banks
  • Grain elevators, feed and seed mills, feed warehouses and grain-seed cleaning plants
  • First Nation governments (including certain community services on reserve)
  • Port services, marine shipping, ferries, tunnels, canals, bridges and pipelines (oil and gas) that cross international or provincial borders

  • Railways that cross provincial or international borders 
  • Road transportation services, including trucks and buses that cross provincial or international
