Online TrainingThe Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia (LISNS) is seeking practicing lawyers to join our Workplace Sexual Harassment Legal Advice program. This program allows victims of workplace sexual harassment to access free independent legal advice, as well as support in document preparation, letter writting and other supports deemed necessary within the intial 4 hours.

This is an exciting opportunity for Nova Scotians, and we welcome lawyers from across the province to be part of it.

Lawyers who join this service will receive a $200 + Tax hourly rate for up to four hours for clients referred to them through our program

Lawyers are asked to take training developed for our program. This approximately two-day training session focuses on legal options for victims of sexual harassment and trauma-informed approaches to client service. This training is online, and can be counted toward CPD requirements.

For more information, or to become a member of the Workplace Sexual Harassment Legal Advice program, please contact program coordinator at [email protected].
