LISNS was pleased and fortunate to have had Ian Gray recently volunteer with us. A history graduate from the University of King's College, Ian grew up in Moscow, Russia, where he went to the Anglo-American School of Moscow. Ian is now in his third year of law school at the University of New Brunswick, and volunteered at LISNS both to gain experience in legal research and to help people understand the law. Ian previously volunteered in pro bono legal clinics in New Brunswick, and participated in UNB's competitive mooting program.
After law school, Ian hopes to settle in Halifax to practice law. When not studying, working or relaxing with his fiancée Annie, Ian enjoys playing soccer, watching baseball, cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays and reading. Aside from the usual life goals of career and family, Ian harbors dreams of one day appearing on Jeopardy! Until the call comes from Alex Trebek, though, he can regularly be found at Halifax-area Trivia Nights. Ian generously gave of his time, skills and expertise, and we want to thank him for his far from trivial contributions!
LISNS is a registered charity that relies on funding from individuals like you. (Our core funding comes from agencies and government) We have been providing easy to understand legal information to Nova Scotians for 30 years. Your donation helps ensure we can continue.
